Welcoming the Morans: MOC SHACKLETON Takes Shape 🚢🌍

MOC Shipyards is thrilled to host Terry and Christine Moran, proud owners of Morsoul Holdings Pty Ltd, along with Bob Fowler from their technical team, as they visit the yard to review the progress of their remarkable 25-meter catamaran, the MOC SHACKLETON.

This exceptional vessel, designed for VIP charters and private expeditions, embodies a unique combination of luxury and environmental innovation. With its twin Yanmar engines, cruising speed of 18 knots, and range of over 1,000 nautical miles, the SHACKLETON is crafted to deliver unmatched performance. Complementing its advanced engineering are solar-powered auxiliary systems, spacious bespoke interiors, and state-of-the-art navigation and communication technology.

What truly sets the SHACKLETON apart is its role in the Polygoneproject—a pioneering effort to address ocean plastic pollution. Equipped with cutting-edge shredding and compacting systems, developed in partnership with AMT-PWT, this vessel transforms recovered plastics into durable bricks, paving the way for sustainable innovation.

The Morans and their team have been closely involved in the journey, experiencing firsthand MOC Shipyards’ state-of-the-art facilities and expertise. With a dedicated team, ISO-standard practices, and a reputation for precision engineering, MOC Shipyards is honoured to play a part in bringing this groundbreaking project to life.

As the SHACKLETON moves closer to completion, its story of luxury, sustainability, and innovation continues to inspire us all. Stay tuned for more updates as we work together to deliver this extraordinary vessel!
